Shoaib Abbasi – President


Shoaib is a founding partner of The Optime Group with over 20 years of management consulting and software design experience.  He has led enterprise strategy, supply chain optimization, strategic sourcing, and optimization projects for clients such as US Steel, Weyerhaeuser, Newsweek, Elkay, Elf Atochem, and Kraft.  His expertise has also led human capital optimization projects for Mt. Sinai Hospital & Medical Center, Chicago Osteopathic Hospital & Medical Center, Grant Hospital of Chicago, and Dameron Hospital.

Shoaib has an MBA from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, Marketing & Finance and completed a MS and BS at Cornell University in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering

Ed Hisscock President, Optime’ Supply Chain, Inc.


Ed Hisscock is a leading Healthcare Supply Chain practitioner.  He has spent over 25 years working in the supply chain and IT disciplines with fortune 50 companies, healthcare supplier and healthcare provider organizations. Ed’s comprehensive experience and his passion for change leadership have guided him to development of technology-enabled solutions solving some of healthcare supply chain’s most difficult problems. In addition to Ed’s leadership of the Optime’ Supply Chain, Inc. business, he is also the founding partner of Appleseed Healthcare Resources, a healthcare supply chain consultancy, Executive Director, for the International Board for the Advancement of Medicine, a firm dedicated to improving the delivery of care in developing countries and Chair of the Educational Board, IDN Summit, a leading healthcare supply chain education venue.

Ed holds an Engineering degree in Electronics, a Bachelors degree in Behavioral Science, and an MS in Logistics from Michigan State University.
