Shoaib Abbasi – President
Shoaib is a founding partner of The Optime Group with over 20 years of management consulting and software design experience. He has led enterprise strategy, supply chain optimization, strategic sourcing, and optimization projects for clients such as US Steel, Weyerhaeuser, Newsweek, Elkay, Elf Atochem, and Kraft. His expertise has also led human capital optimization projects for Mt. Sinai Hospital & Medical Center, Chicago Osteopathic Hospital & Medical Center, Grant Hospital of Chicago, and Dameron Hospital.
Shoaib has an MBA from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, Marketing & Finance and completed a MS and BS at Cornell University in Operations Research & Industrial Engineering
Patrick McGartland, Sr. Vice President
Business Development
Before joining Optime Patrick was Vice President for Corporate Development for Meridio, LLC. As a senior manager Patrick worked towards a successful transaction with Autonomy (London:AU.L). Previous to that role, Patrick had responsibility for sales, marketing and business development strategy and execution in the United States including forming strategic partnerships with key organizations such as Microsoft. During this period Meridio grew to be a global leader in the Document and Records Management segment of the Enterprise Content Management market.
Prior to his role at Meridio, Patrick held various sales, marketing and business development roles at Tower Technology, Baltimore Technologies and Sachs Group. Patrick has extensive international business development experience.
Patrick has an MBA from Trinity College Dublin, Dublin Ireland and completed his undergraduate at Marquette University in English and Philosophy
